NSW Weekend Escapes (nswweekendescapes.com) is operated by Unwind Escapes Pty Ltd (ABN 56 664 972 865), an Australian business based in NSW. This page explains what data the site handles and why. The short version: we run a content site, not an account system, and we collect as little as possible.

What we collect

The site has no user accounts and no comment system. When you visit, our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard server logs, including IP addresses and request details, for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate readership: which guides are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. This data is aggregated, is not sold, and is not used to identify individuals.

Advertising and cookies

To keep guides free, the site may show display advertising through Google AdSense. When advertising is active, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where your settings allow it. You can control ad personalisation at Google Ads Settings and read how Google uses data at policies.google.com.

Links to other sites

Guides link to external sites, including official sources and our sister property Unwind Escapes. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and links from us are not endorsements of their data practices.
